    Description

    Vintage  American Hickok   circular cigar cutter, file, fob (1 1/2") features two blades: cutter and file. Obverse: classical raised scantily clad warrior/ soldier holding slightly rearing horse. Around edge: A TOI UNE VIE  FLORISSANTE (to you a flourishing life). Reverse: hammered surface, engine turned central, with rectangular reserve suitable for inscription or  monogram. Marked Hickok U.S.A. under the bail. Note: Hickok produced a vast amount of wallets, belts, men's accessories from about 1909 until the 1970s in Rochester, New York. Silver plated (similar ones were made in sterling and brass). Riveted construction. Normal wear.  I 3239
