    On August 14, 1983, the USPS issued a new .35 Express Mail stamp in concert with the launch of the Challenger space shuttle.
    This cover also celebrates NASA's 25th anniversary, and was carried in space on board the shuttle! The cover is numbered on the back, too. It was launched on the shuttle on August 30, 1983 and landed September 5. This would make a great gift for any FDC collector.
