Description
Here's a High Quality Vintage Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) Medium Format Film Camera--- a Yashica Mat 124G with 80mm f/3.5 Yashinon Lens. I believe it was made in the early 1970's. Plus it also includes Two Auxilary Lens Sets--- one Wide Angle and one Telephoto--- each set has the viewing and taking lens attachments in cases. These are aftermarket attachments---- brand name Telesor. Plus the camera Instruction Book is included. It's in Near Mint
Condition--- the Exterior has barely any blemish marks anywhere and everything works and open's smoothly as far as I can tell. Just a few dust specs inside on the mirror. I'm not a complete expert on this camera but I did do some "dry" shooting/testing and it all seems to be functioning as it should. The Lens--- the Glass is beautifully Clean and Clear with contrasty, bright coatings, and no major anomalies. The taking lens is beautiful, except for a few teensy specs of dust, or a slight hint of fog---- but certainly it won't have much if any effect and it's nothing to make a stink about. The aperture opens and closes smoothly and the blades look A-OK... no oil or anything I can see. The shutter works beautifully--- nice and snappy all the way up and down the scale to 1 Second--- even that one sounds good. No guarantees on the 100% accuracy--- it has not been bench-tested to factory specs. But they "sound" and look pretty good. The viewing hood is clean with no issues and it's clean inside the film chamber---- it might need new seals, it is about 50 years old afterall. And the Meter Works! I don't know how accurate it is but it responds to light nicely.
So don't expect it to be New in the Box Mint, but it's pretty close!
It comes with the Lens Caps shown, and the Auxillary lenses, in pretty much perfect condition, and the Instruction Manual that's a little dog eared
and has some writing on the back.

By Bidding you Agree that: I am not Amazon or a professional Camera Store seller--- just a pragmatic collector/shooter selling some Used items. I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you. But that said... I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping." So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval, it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyers Remorse, No Tryouts, No Returns.
I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for. But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially in a 40-50 year old item!
Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge. I try to be detailed and truthful but I can't describe every every millimeter of it, so there may be a nick or blemish or a few specs of dust that I failed to mention... but they would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfection. If it's junk or even "C" Grade... I won't sell it! What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
