These beautiful handmade twists are comprised of 100% Kentucky Burley leaf tobacco. This tobacco is grown, harvested, and cured completely by hand, as it would have been generations ago. We use no machinery, pesticides, preservatives, or chemical fertilizers. All by hand. The old way.
While no two are identical, the average twist is between 6"- 8" long. The shades of brown and twist shape can vary slightly, but if multiple pieces are purchased we try to include similar size and colors for consistency sake.
While these are very popular for reenactors, they are also loved by craft makers and rustic themed decorators. They add a truly unique touch to a characters outfit or display at a rendezvous.

Shipping Information - Please Expect a 3-6 day processing time. It is also important that you remove your twists from the packaging immediately when they arrive. They will be slightly humidified to ensure they are not brittle and damaged in transit. They are not chemically treated, and as such if left in a moistened state to long, they can develop mold. In the unlikely event mold does occur, you can spray or wipe with hydrogen peroxide as a quick and safe remedy. Thank you for your business!
